Hello my name is Christy Samuels, I am a Counselling Psychotherapist and Coach, my committment is to helping people experience life in a way that they deserve yet are having trouble achieving.

I am a Certified Master Practitioner of NLP and trained in Transactional Analysis (TA) Psychotherapy and Counselling to which I spent 5 years studying at the prestigious Berne Institue. TA is a school of pychotherapy that offers people a means to examine and improve how they interact with themselves, others and the world. I have 13 years experience working with individuals and groups, which has been focused on healing, facilitating change and movement towards acceptance. Using my knowledge and experience to help move towards personal development, and emotional flexilbilty. Also helping people set, achieve and maintain goals and aspirations.

EXPERIENCE

I have 13 years of experience, working with individuals and groups. Helping people to deal with anxiety, depression, bereavement, relationships, addiction, loss and trauma. Although Transactional Analysis and Neuro Linguistic Programming are my main focus when helping people, I also utilise other healing skills including EMDR, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and Mindfulness Practise. While able to facilitate healing as a Neuroscience Practitioner, I am also very comfortable helping people look at Spirituality, spiritual direction and existential issues.
